Most definitely this is the beginning of the busy convention season. This week and last have been very busy.
Three costumes were finished and sent off/or handed over in the case of B.B. Hood :3 It's been a great experiencing making all of these costumes~!
And soon to come.... Nemu and Chibiamerica!

First off.... a personal rant about random floods of junk mail making their way into my email ;A;
Way too much spam, ebay. Way too much. >< I always get scared when going through them, afraid I'll miss something that actually matters (Like an ebay account update or such? Either way, spam is so troublesome).
On the bright side of things!
I have a fitting this coming week with B.B. Hood ~ And a soon to come shipment for the Full Moon Group!
Not long after that comes the Nemu costume to be shipped off!
It's a busy con season so far, but it's very welcomed. I love to see what is popular, and what costumes people are really interested in.
Also, I Will be online and available all day today and tomorrow! Feel free to message me! I will respond quickly. If it takes me more than 10 minutes to respond, it will only be because I have got to make a fabric store run for some materials ~! After which I will return immediately! :0)

Tornadoes in NC
At first, the news taught us that it was 60 tornadoes. Currently calculations bring it to be only 24 in NC, I wonder if the others were ones that did not touch down or ones created by the storm as a whole. In any case, this is the storm that hit NC last weekend. I wanted to make a short post about it, linking a little information for those of you were may be curious.

Although my family did get quite a bit of property damage (power at my fathers didn't return for several days), everyone is safe thanks to God and the apt warnings from our local weather service. It was frightening none-the-less >< !

Show Opening so Slight Delay in Email Schedule
Actually, it means a return to my normal emailing schedule. This week a new show opens (tomorrow night, to be exact) so my response to emails will return normally on *Friday Morning*. Please be patient as the show opens and I return to my normal mail check schedule.
Some Quick Updates While I have the opportunity:
Piko: I will be sending the payment information on Friday Morning (If not sooner. As well as the payment via Paypal by the evening *after* hearing back from you. The short wait I was talking about was the few days it took between Monday and now ^^ )
Mitsuki: The wig order was placed ~! Success!
Bleach: The obi will be made stiff as you requested. <3! As well as the use of the discussed fabrics :) Thank you!

Piko finished and Headphone shots
So I just got back from class, and I'm about to head off to ship Piko ~!
I say this with every costume, but it's true, I learn so much every time I make something new and different. The most vital portion of knowledge I got from the Piko costume was about costume lighting... as in, how to make things light up. There were many options but, ultimately, it came down to what materials were the lightest to use for what the customer needed. Long story short, I learned the magic of button batteries (very small batteries, as you may guess) and the importance of watts, amps and voltage (oh geeze, sounds like my stage lighting class, but seriously... it kinda was) - The photos below show the results of button batteries and super small LED's --

A dropped phone.. a little water... equals...
= Disaster.
Thank you to everyone who has been patient today and yesterday after I stupidly allowed my phone to drop into a tub of water. As many of you know, I receive all of my automatic email updates/email alerts via my phone. I believe I still got back to everyone in a timely fashion, but wanted to make a post about it anyway.
To help explain my reaction when I realized what I had done:
